Where has the summer gone?

I am sitting and writing this blog, as we speak, and I'm wondering where the summer has gone? How is it already August 5th? I got a new teaching position for the fall. I will be teaching 6th Grade Language Arts, which is exactly what I have always wanted to teach. I am extremely excited, anxious, and nervous! I cannot believe that I am already starting to prepare, but it is quickly approaching!
Ava turned 3 in June and Seth just turned a year old? How is that possible? It seems like yesterday that I was sitting in the NICU rocking him in my arms, so tiny and precious. He is such a beautiful boy and a joy to be around!
Ava's personality has come out bright and shining! I think that she's going to be voted Class Clown once she gets to school. If you haven't spent a lot of time around her, don't be fooled by the initial bashfulness! She is a character!
